Chinese Community Health Plan (CCHP)
Chinese Community Health Plan (CCHP) was formed in 1986 as an alternative HMO for patients served by the Chinese Hospital Health System. The Health System was created more than a century ago to serve Chinese-Americans who were often excluded from mainstream healthcare. Today, CCHP continues to provide culturally competent care and is available to those who are employed and/or reside in San Francisco and Northern San Mateo Counties. CCHP serves Rating Regions 4 (San Francisco), 8 (San Mateo)
CCHP and its Integrated Health System has a history of participating in programs that benefit the Chinese community members that often have difficulty to access quality and affordable healthcare coverage.
The CCHP Network includes 9 hospitals and 315 doctors.
