Question: When will I receive the IRS Form 1095-A for the 2018 tax year from Covered California?

Answer: You should be receiving IRS Form 1095-A from Covered California by January 31, if you have not received it already. Everyone who had health coverage through Covered California anytime during the 2018 calendar year will receive a IRS Form 1095-A. It will show the months you had health coverage through Covered California.

If your communication preference is email, you will receive an email from Covered California with instructions to sign in to your online account and download your IRS Form 1095-A. You will not receive your Form 1095-A in the mail.

If your communication preference is mail, you will receive your IRS Form 1095-A in the mail.

Everyone can access their IRS Form 1095-A in your online account under “Documents & Correspondence,” even if your preference is mail.
